around you may not like the true you but that is there issue, not yours. You have the ability to shine and feel the
freedom of self-discovery, so like the snake, shed your old skin and let the

The Winged Enchantment Oracle – Woodpecker
I am Woodpecker, the rhythm of the ancients and the
heartbeat of the earth. I am drummer. I am the percussion of life. I am the one
who digs deep and finds secrets hidden within. I am in tune with the world and
allow my echoes to lead me to the hearts of the world. I can dredge up those
things forgotten. I can call out that which hides. Know that everything has a
time, a beast of its own. Know that there are always more layers beneath the

Turtle buries its thoughts, like its eggs, in the sand, and
allows the sun to hatch the little ones. This teaches you to develop your ideas
before bringing them out in the light. Look at the old fable of the tortoise
and the hare, and decide for yourself whether or not you would like to align
with Turtle. Bigger, stronger, and faster are not always the best ways to get
to a goal. When you arrive, you may be asked where you’ve been and you may not
be able to remember. In that case, arriving prematurely can make you feel very
immature. If you draw the Turtle card, it augurs time of connecting with the
power of Earth and the Mother-Goddess within. This is a reminder of the ally
you have in Mother Earth. It does not matter what situation you have created:
ask her for assistance and abundance will follow.
Spirit of the Wheel Oracle – Freeze Up Moon
Like the snake shedding its skin, Free Up Moon represents
letting go of the outworn roles to reveal your true identity. It is very easy
to get caught up in playing the roles prescribed by others. If you continue to
play along, sacrificing your true self, soon or later you will lose yourself.
The Freeze Up Moon card signifies an opportunity to get back in touch with your
inner self. Courage and patience are required to let go of the roles that have been
smothering your inner light. Shedding the old skin may leave you feeling
somewhat vulnerable. The people around
you, who have grown accustomed to your old roles, may resist this change.
Remember this is their fear and uncertainty, not yours. Stand firm. Listen to
your higher self and let it guide you along your path of self-discovery. As you
allow the parts of your true identity to emerge you will feel your spirits
lighten. There is real freedom in true creative expression.
