The Last Full Moon of the Year!!

Full moon this coming Friday!

A full moon on December 25 hasn't happened since 1977 and won't happen again until 2034.

The last full moon of the year is called the “Full Cold Moon” because it coincides with the start of the winter season, according to NASA. The winter solstice comes just a few days before, on Dec. 21.

Effects of a full moon:

A full moon focuses our attention on relationships of all kinds. A full moon itself has a relationship to the previous new moon. Projects you started since the December 11th's new moon can now be fine-tuned or completed. As the lunar effects  our emotions and instincts reach their peak at a full moon, you can take an good look at your personal relationships. Being in touch with your own needs and intentions, and those of others, you can clearly see any relationships imbalances causing disharmony.
You can feel the effects of a full moon for two weeks up to the next new moon, in this case the new moon on January 9th, 2016.

 Full moon's energy:

Full moon energy is extremely strong! Definitely avoid mind-altering substances or too much alcohol at this time. The veils between the worlds are at their thinnest around a full Moon, now would be a good time to do cleansing and charging. So don't forget to place your crystals, stones, pendulums, tarot cards etc. outside in the moon light. I like to put my crystals and such in a glass or wood bowl of sea salt covering them completely, then putting bowl  outside in the full moon. This gives them an extra "boost" for cleansing and charging. The next day remove your items from the sea salt and wipe them off with a moist paper towel. Throw the sea salt in the yard to return the negative energies captured in the salt back down where they came from and let mother earth use it as fertilizer to help something beautiful grow.
